Wi-Fi 6 


With little overhaul of your network, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) promises to better your business significantly with more efficient data transfer throughout the 2GHz and 5Ghz bands, with a conservative maximum data rate of 9.6 Gbpsalmost triple the data rate of the previous standard! 


Increased network capacity, improved performance and power savings occur through the adoption of the latest wireless technology standards such as Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access(OFDMA). 


MU-MIMO supports a higher concentration of devices by using up to 8 steams (double previous standards) across the same channel/frequency which greatly enhances the spectral efficiency of an access point. 


OFDMA splits channel bandwidth into multiple narrow-band subcarriers to carry information more efficiently. By assigning subsets of subcarriers to individual users (instead of data packets travelling in one box, you can imagine many small boxes) a very high throughput is achieved by transmitting packets of data simultaneously.
